way it was meant to be driven? Sign up for our Back Road Blast, three
days of driving fun through Northern California. The first day is
filled with backroad driving. The second day, you’ll have a choice—spending
it at the track or relaxing at a spa. The third day is more backroad
driving, concluding with a classic car museum tour. All punctuated
with some great meals.
Mingle with fellow car enthusiasts and check out their rides. From
Murcielagos to Miatas, you never know what might show up. Enjoy great

so all your have to do is drive -- or stop -- and admire the scenery
at your own pace.

Performance
Driving School & Track Time
Spend a day at Thunderhill Raceway.
It's a chance to play with your car and improve your driving skills
without having to worry about oncoming traffic or watchful cops. Never
been on a track before? No problem. It's the perfect opportunity for
you and/or your guest to learn.
We're arranged a performance driving
school where instructors will give you and your guest classroom training
on driving techniques -- skidpad, braking, and car control. It's not
racing -- the techniques you learn may save your life in everyday
driving. Then it's time to practice -- on the track. You can both
use the same car. For novice and intermediate drivers, we have instructors
available for ride long with you. For experienced drivers, you're
free to go out and get lap time. Thunderhill Raceway is one of the
safest tracks in the area to learn on. |
Spa & Shop
There's something for everyone. If you
or your guest would rather relax than drive at the track, spend the
second day pampering yourself with spa treatments at the Silver Rose
Inn and Spa. Or stroll through the town of Calistoga and check our
the shops and restaurants. We've built relaxation time into the schedule.

Blackhawk Museum Tour
One of the world's finest classic car museums resides in our
own backyard in Danville. Our final day of backroad driving will
